Designed for motorcyclists looking for a sports helmet that can offer maximum comfort, the K5 combines reliable performance, advanced features, and a compact design, ideal for all-around road use.
The composite fiber shell delivers high-level protection while maintaining compact dimensions and optimized weight, for the best balance of safety, comfort, and stability. The construction with three shell sizes and four of EPS offers a precise fit across all sizes, ensuring a snug, secure feeling in all riding conditions. Designed in accordance with the latest safety standards, the K5 complies with ECE 22.06, features a collarbone-safe profile designed to reduce the risk of injury to the collarbone, one of the most exposed areas in case of impact. The compact visor mechanism also allows the amount of EPS in the temple area to be optimized, further enhancing the level of protection and helping to reduce the overall size of the helmet.
The aerodynamic design, developed to ensure stability even at high speeds, is characterized by a rear spoiler that optimizes airflow and reduces neck fatigue while riding. The ventilation system, developed with the help of CFD simulations, ensures a constant and effective airflow: the front air vents and rear extractor work in together to promote heat dissipation and maintain an optimal interior temperature. The design of the air vents also ensures excellent water tightness, for constant comfort even in changing weather conditions.
The GT8 visor, equipped with a tool-free quick release system, offers maximum reliability courtesy of the Microlock system, which ensures stability and secure closure even at high speeds. The Ultravision technology provides a 190° panoramic field of vision, for excellent visibility of the road. The Pinlock® 70 MaxVision™ anti-fog lens provided, combined with the front ventilation, ensures optimal visibility in all conditions, while the built-in sun visor (which can be adjusted to two different levels) improves visual comfort in varying light conditions.
The premium interiors, crafted using Ritmo and Shalimar fabrics with synthetic leather inserts in the neck guard area, offer superior comfort, stability and durability. The materials work in synergy to provide softness in the most sensitive areas and greater grip in strategic areas, improving the feel and stability of the helmet even at high speeds. The wrap-around fit contributes to noise reduction, while the quick-drying, breathable materials ensure thermal comfort and a consistently dry feel, even during the most intense days in the saddle. Interchangeable cheek pads on all sizes, the Eyewear Ready setup, and the Emergency Release System, which allows quick removal of the cheek pads in case of emergency, further enhance practicality and safety.
The K5 is equipped with double-ring (Double D) closure for precise and secure adjustment, and can be paired with the AGV Onsyde communication system, designed to provide clean, lightweight integration without compromising aerodynamics and acoustic comfort.
