Stefano Manzi

The proverbial “turning point” in the career of Stefano Manzi - born in Rimini on March 29, 1999 - was the British Moto3 Grand Prix in September 2016. On that occasion - having sporadically raced as a wild-card for Mahindra Racing - the young motorcycle rider from Romagna succeeded in seizing an incredible 4th place after starting 34th on the grid. This remarkable performance, coupled with good results in the CEV in Spain, convinced Valentino Rossi’s VR46 Riders Academy to take him under their wing.

That success led to an agreement with the Sky Racing Team VR46 to participate in the Moto2 2017 World Championship, an event that marks his permanent return to the World Motorcycle Championship after debuting in 2015 in the Moto3 class with Team Italia. The ace from Romagna is getting ready to shine in the intermediate class as well.
