ANDREA IANNONE DEDICATES HIS BRAND NEW HELMET TO ALL HIS FANS AT THE MUGELLO GP
At the Mugello Grand Prix, Andrea Iannone presented his latest AGV helmet that features a graphic expressly designed for the Italian competition weekend.
As per a tradition established at the beginning of his career, the Ducati Team rider dedicated the helmet to his home country and to the many fans that crowd onto the circuit, choosing the colors of the Italian flag as the base for his new AGV Pista GP. To the traditional symbol of the gun sight, a detail meant for his rivals that has been a distinctive graphic of The Maniac, Iannone added the green, white and red colors to honor the race held in his homeland and his audience.
Designed in collaboration with designer Aldo Drudi, Andrea’s Pista GP illustrates the molecules of adrenaline on both sides of the helmet, a representation of the hormone that runs through the rider’s blood at each turn and pass. The AGV logo is replicated on the upper part of the visor together with the Ducati logo. The chin guard features Andrea’s distinctive hallmark: Number 29 on a white background combined with the logo of the company from Borgo Panigale.
AGV Pista GP is a full carbon helmet expressly designed for racing, whose top-of-the-range aerodynamic characteristics set new standards in terms of performance. In fact, the Pista GP is a result of the AGV Extreme Standards, an advanced helmet development process that completely revolutionized the design method. Improvements and the perfect integration of protection, performance and comfort can finally offer unmatched levels of safety.
Progress and benefits guaranteed by this revolutionary integrated design protocol are tangible and measurable in terms of impact protection, field of vision, compact design, weight reduction, aerodynamics, ventilation and ergonomics. The innovative AGV Extreme Standards process raises the level of technology in helmet R&D and is another milestone in head protection systems.
