The 2012 season is about to start. AGV & Dainese have decided to invest in a group of talented riders and confirm their participation in the racing world at an international level.

In MotoGP class Valentino Rossi, a long-time Dainese spokesman and AGV ambassador, will be obviously be wearing AGV helmets and Dainese protections. Mattia Pasini and Danilo Petrucci, both Italian MotoGP riders, this year continue their cooperation with the Dainese & AGV team.

In the Moto2 class, Dainese & AGV sponsor four riders: Simone Corsi and Pol Espargarò, already members of the team, and Andrea Iannone and Gino Rea, new entries this year. All four are equipped with Dainese's D-air® Racing system. Once again this year, AGV will be sponsoring the Como rider, Claudio Corti.

In the Moto3 class, Dainese & AGV sponsor: Luis Salom, equipped with the D-air® Racing system, Romano Fenati, Alessandro Tonucci, Luigi Morciano and the entire Italia FMI Team, and Niccolò Antonelli of the Gresini Team. Always in the Moto3 class, an agreement has been signed with the Mahindra Racing Team to sponsor the riders Danny Webb and Marcel Schroetter (Dainese & AGV) and all the staff of the Indian team.

In the WSBK class, riders Mark Aitchinson and Niccolò Canepa.

Cooperation between Dainese & AGV also continues for 2012 with the British rider Guy Martin, competing on the roads of the Tourist Trophy and in the British Superstock championship. Conor Cummins, a native of the isle of Man and also competing in the Tourist Trophy, is dressed and protected by Dainese & AGV.

In the Supermotard, Dainese & AGV are sponsoring Davide Gozzini, who will be competing in the 2012 world championship in the saddle of an Aprilia of the Siena team PMR.

In the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup, the Dainese & AGV rider is Lorenzo Savadori, Team Italia, while in the European Superstock 600 championship, its riders are Luca Vitali and Riccardo Russo, always Team Italia.

In the British Superbike championship, Dainese & AGV will be Official Safety Partner and will sponsor Alastair Seeley, one of the riders to beat on the British motorbike scene.

For the AMA/ American Superbike, Dainese is on track with Steve Rapp, runner up for the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series. For AMA Supersport, a class dedicated to the young talents of under-21 US motorcycling, AGV are sponsoring James Rispoli from California and incumbent AMA Supersport champion of the “East Division” and “National” ratings.

AGV, together with Dainese, is investing to provide head – foot protection to selected riders. Under the ILP - Italian Legendary Protection – flag, they have teamed up to provide the very best in terms of protection. The two brands also sponsor a group of riders who compete in off-road championships in Europe and the USA. David Philippaerts, Italian rider and 2008 MX1 champion, and Paulin Gautier are both AGV brand ambassadors in the top motocross category.
