Winning debut for Paulin and AGV
Gautier Paulin and AGV started the new motocross season in great style with a convincing overall victory in the third and last race of the "Internazionali d’Italia" at Montevarchi (Arezzo).
Once he had completed training and fine-tuning of the works Kawasaki on which he will contend the MXGP World Championship Series, the French rider made his debut at the renewed track in Tuscany and took two excellent results which serve to underline his ambitions for 2014.
Wearing his AGV AX-8 Evo helmet, Paulin was first across the line in the first MX1 round with the Yamaha rider Jeremy Van Horebeek behind him. In the Elite class he led from start to finish and took the flag ahead of his team mate Steven Frossard followed by Van Horebeek and Antonio Cairoli.
With the "Internazionali d’Italia" over, the motocross season now gets under way with the first round to be held at the Losail track (Qatar) on 2 March.
