Romano Fenati climbs back to eighth place and finishes 15th, Francesco Bagnaia barely misses the Top 15.
Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5) found a good setup during WUP and mounted an exciting comeback during the Moto3 race in Barcelona. The Italian climbed from 22nd to 8th position, lapping with a pace similar to the one of those at the front, but was 15th under the checkered flag after a chaotic fight in the chasers' group. Nonetheless, he gained confidence ahead of the next race, scheduled in two weeks in Assen.
Francesco Bagnaia (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#4), after being relegated to 32nd position during QP because of an electrical issue, got off a lightning-fast start and made the most of his knowledge of the track to come back together with his teammate. The rookie, despite a small mistake while chasing the Top 15, rode his best race to date and is ready to resume with more confidence about his competitiveness.
Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5), 15th, 41'37.402 "During WUP we found the right setup and I was able to pass many riders out there. I could have finished 8th but lost some positions in the group. I know we can do better, we just need to work hard. In Assen we will give an even bigger effort."
Francesco Bagnaia (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#4),17th, 41'43.450 "I lapped so much faster today, gaining positions and climbing back to 17th position. Our pace was good, and I stayed with Romano but made a mistake in the last corner and barely missed the Top 15. Still, I'm more confident: we have everything we need to do well."
