On March 23
rd, AGV participated in a charity event benefiting Riders For Health, hosted by the Dainese D-Store Orange County.
Riders For Health is a non-profit organization that provides cost-effective transportation (motorcycles) to deliver health care to millions of people in remote parts of Africa, who would otherwise have no access to health care. The D-Store is Southern California’s premiere showroom of Dainese and AGV motorcycle gear.
The evening’s highlights included catered food and a raffle with fantastic prizes including an AGV GP-Tech helmet, VIP passes to AMA Superbike and MotoGP races, restaurant and trackday gift certificates and much more. All raffle ticket proceeds went directly to the Riders organization, and almost $1300 was raised.
The very special, custom Rossi 5 Continents Yamaha R1 built specifically for Riders For Health was also on display, and luminaries on hand to sign autographs included Daytona 200 winner Don Emde, current AMA Superbike rider Blake Young, and 1993 World Champion Kevin Schwantz.
