Warranty Extension



To be eligible for the warranty extension, you must register your helmet within 60 days of purchase. For the servicing and/or replacement of your helmet, you will have to produce the receipt or a document that will prove the date of purchase.

Your data

Your personal data is required to be able to extend your warranty. If you don not consent to submit your data, you will not be able to take part in the program.

All AGV products are covered by the legally-recognized warranty for any defects existing at the time of sale for a period of twenty-four (24)* months from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, provided that the latter is a "consumer" in conformity with Legislative Decree 206/2005 and has a receipt or document proving the purchase.

*the warranty does not cover defects due to: normal wear, damage, misuse, tampering, negligence, carelessness or any other supervening cause not imputable to AGV, and in case of repairs and/or alterations made by unauthorized persons.

WARRANTY PERIOD EXTENSION

To take advantage of an extended warranty period on the helmet (excluding parts subject to normal wear) just fill out the registration form below within 60 days from date of purchase of the helmet.

The warranty may be extended for different periods of time depending on the product purchased. Before proceeding, display and accept the warranty conditions

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

All AGV products are covered by the legally-recognized warranty for any defects existing at the time of sale for a period of twenty-four (24)* months from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, provided that the latter is a "consumer" in conformity with Legislative Decree 206/2005 and has a receipt or document proving the purchase.
Repairs and/or replacements under the warranty cannot be made without a receipt and/or other equivalent document.

The warranty only covers problems caused by defective materials and/or workmanship.

The warranty does not cover:
- the deterioration of the product or its components due to normal wear
- damage caused by misuse
- damage caused by technical changes made by the user or unauthorized third parties
- damage caused by falling and/or accidents
- damage caused by improper or incorrect use of the product or failure to follow AGV's instructions
- damage caused by other factors/acts beyond AGV's control
- defects having to do with the user's subjective opinions, such as comfort, noise, aerodynamics, whistling, etc.
- damage due to prolonged exposure to light and/or heat sources

CONDITIONS FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD

By registering your helmet online within 60 days from purchase, you have the right to an extension of the warranty period of thirty-six (36), twenty-four (24) or twelve (12) months, depending on the model purchased.
The possible extension of the warranty does not affect your rights under applicable national laws governing the sale of consumer goods.

The warranty extension only covers problems related to defects of materials or workmanship.

The extended warranty does not cover:

WARRANTY SERVICE PROCEDURE

If you have a problem covered by the warranty during the warranty period, you can contact the AGV dealer closest to you, who will see to it that the helmet is repaired or replaced. If In the event that your dealer is not able to make the repair, the helmet will be sent to AGV.Repairs and/or replacements under the warranty during the first 24 months after purchase require the presentation of a receipt of other document proving the sale.

Repairs and/or replacements after the first 24 months from purchase, obtained by registering your helmet online require, in addition to the presentation of a receipt or other document proving the sale, the registration number in the Warranty Extension Certificate issued after registration.

ATTENTION!

The personal data is necessary for managing the warranty extension. If you do not consent to the processing of your personal data, you cannot take advantage of the program.

Privacy notice required by Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003

Pursuant to article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, we inform you that your personal data will be used to fulfil your requests for contractual services to be performed by AGV SpA, in addition to fulfilling our legal obligations and for the purposes of: a) conducting studies and developing market statistics; b) sending promotional-advertising material and/or information; c) interactive commercial communications; d) direct sales.

The personal data collected will be stored in protected computer databases that are not accessible to the public and will be processed directly or through third parties for the purpose of developing statistical data.
The owner of the processing of the data is AGV SpA with registered offices at Via dell'Artigianato, 35 -36060 Molvena (VI). The manager of the processing of the data is Moreno Businaro, the company's temporary CEO.
In regard to the processing of your data, you may exercise your rights under article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 at any time, requesting, among other things, that the data be updated, corrected, supplemented or deleted, by writing to Customer Care AGV SpA - Strada Savonesa 12/16, 15050 Rivalta Scrivia (AL) or, by email, to info@agv.com.
